FAN SCREEN HERITAGE RESOURCE GUIDE

Film Hub NI introduce a new guide to screening film archive for BFI FAN Members.

Since the formation of the BFI Film Audience Network, FAN Members have demonstrated a new confidence in working with the thirteen National and Regional Film Archives collections to deliver ambitious screenings and events across the four nations to a wide range of audiences.

Delivered by independent cinemas, film festivals, mixed-art and community venues, and using traditional, immersive, experimental approaches, the screenings have offered communities unique and memorable experiences outside of core film programming, while unlocking new partnerships and audiences for those venues.

Presented by Film Hub NI, who oversee the FAN Champion area for Screen Heritage for the BFI Film Audience Network (FAN), this guide assembles key audience facing resources from the last five years to enhance future screen heritage events with FAN Members across the UK.

Utilising the expertise of Andy Robson, the BFI FAN Champion for Screen Heritage, the guide’s objective is to support FAN exhibitors in developing their work in this area.
