Foyle Film Festival presents a free shorts programme exploring contemporary storytelling in Celtic languages and Ulster Scots dialects. Followed by a talk and reception.

Celtic Voices & Hamely Tongues at Foyle Film Festival

Presented in partnership with Cinematic Arts at Ulster University and BFI Film Academy Young Programmers UK, this specially curated selection of short films explores contemporary storytelling in Celtic languages and Ulster Scots dialects.

This programme showcases diverse voices from across the Celtic nations, reflecting themes of identity, language and place. The programme has been selected by BFI Film Academy Young Programmers Osian Andrew and Jack Synnott, along with students at Ulster University Cinematic Arts Programme.

The screening will be followed by a talk and reception.

This screening is through Ulster University supported by Department for the Economy Northern Ireland.
