A murder mystery that reveals the kind of secrets the governments keep. In 1994, six people were gunned down as they watched the World Cup in a small pub in Loughinisland, Co. Down. Decades later, family members looking for answers discover a cover-up.
This special screening of No Stone Unturned will mark the 10th anniversary of the publication of the Police Ombudsman of Northern Ireland’s ground breaking report into this massacre at Loughinisland in June, 1994. Dr Michael Maguire’s defining investigation found that there was collusion between the RUC and the Loyalist paramilitary gang behind the attack.
Taking part in the post-screening discussion will be the two investigative journalists behind No Stone Unturned, Barry McCaffrey and Trevor Birney along with Niall Murphy, who represents the Loughinisland families.
