Docs Ireland: Archive Poetry & Music Films

In I’m From The Road, Poet Scott McKendry takes a group of young people out and about in Belfast and takes them out of themselves, through poetry. Directed by Vincent Kinnaird.

Also screening, as support, is the documentary short SALT, Produced by Stephen Connolly from QUB’s Seamus Heaney Centre. Directed by Conall McCauley.

The films will be preceded by live poetry readings and new archive poetry short films curated by

Francis Jones and Evan Marshall from Northern Ireland Screen’s Digital Film Archive, with music from Eilís Phillips.
