Since opening its’ doors in 2009, the award-winning Newcastle Community Cinema has been committed to delivering a rich, varied & exciting programme of film old and new, to local movie lovers, film fans & cinephiles. In its lifespan, the exclusively volunteer-run NCC has screened over 300 titles, including outdoor and drive-in movies; event and themed film screenings; plus extended film seasons, double & triple bills - not to mention the annual weekend-long Full Moon Film Festival.

Our home, St Mary’s Hall, affords NCC the space to deliver a complete cinematic experience, with big screen, surround sound, cinema-style seating, and plenty of room for our audiences. It also importantly acts as a community venue beyond its cinema functions – a place where local groups, clubs, teams, and classes can meet and use the facilities as well.
