DFC is a voluntary non-profit community organisation. We screen classic, world cinema and independent film.
The Dungannon Film Club operates out of the Ranfurly House Arts and Visitor Centre, but has also hosted site-specific screenings and drive-in movies in Omagh. Our screenings are low-cost or free, and always open to the public.
We are long-time Film Hub NI members. These are just a few of the films we've shown in the past year: Withnail and I (with a beer-tasting!); Can You Ever Forgive Me; If Beale Street Could Talk; Bait; and Poitín. We also, in partnership with Ulster University and the University of Newcastle, organised the 'Screening Violence' series, showing films from and about post-conflict communities around the world.
We regularly take part in the Film Hub NI Collective screening tours (Of Love and Law; The Dig; Extra Ordinary; Gaza; and Bump Along the Way) and in FHNI's annual Cinema Day (Beats)
