FHS Coordinator Opportunity
Film Hub Scotland seeks a Coordinator with excellent organisation and communication skills to support and deliver Hub activity until 22 December 2017.
As part of the BFI's Film Audience Network, Film Hub Scotland is one of nine Hubs set up across the UK with the aim of extending film choice, increasing and broadening film audiences, and enhancing opportunities for audiences to engage with and learn about film. Funding is currently confirmed for Scottish Film (a consortium made up of Scotland’s key cultural cinemas and festivals) to manage Film Hub Scotland until the end of December 2017.
Reporting to and working closely with the Hub Manager, the Hub Coordinator will be responsible for day-to-day liaison with the Film Hub Scotland membership, partners and other stakeholders. They will be responsible for the coordination and administration of all aspects of the Hub including communications, event production, audience development initiatives, financial systems, and being the first point of call for all Hub queries. The post holder will also prepare contract documents, support training and delivery of events, and raise the profile of Hub activity through effective marketing tools.
Applications are encouraged from self-motivated, organised individuals with excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working. A keen interest in film, and experience and knowledge of the film exhibition sector will be expected.
Salary: £22,500 per annum pro rata
Term: Full-time, fixed term contract to 22 December 2017
