Social media training for Hub members

Are you looking for some help growing your audiences through online activity? These sessions (one beginner, one advanced) will help demystify the world of social media and give you a clear understanding of how these tools can be used effectively for promotion, engagement and education.

Delivered by Quiet Arch Media, this training will be tailored for film clubs, community cinemas and part-time venues.

An introduction to Social Media Marketing

10am-1pm

This workshop will look a developing a social media strategy that is right for your organisation. Deciding which digital platform to use from an ever growing number, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, e-mail marketing etc. can be overwhelming.

This session is for those with no, little or moderate experience who wish to engage with audiences this way, and maintain a social media presence to promote their organisation and events.

Content is King

2pm-5pm

How to generate your own premium image and video content for desktop and mobile marketing.

Images and video content are key factors in successful online promotion and it can be more cost effective than you think to generate it yourself.  Learn to shoot, edit and achieve maximum effect with still image and video content for online promotional use in order to attract audiences for your screenings/events.

This session is for advanced users of social media.

Please note: places at this second session are strictly limited to 8.

*Lunch will be provided for all participants from 1pm-2pm.
