Mandatory Data and Evaluation Training
Data and evaluation workshop with Una Carmody
QFT Seminar Room
Friday 24th November 13.15 – 17.15
Saturday 25th November 10.00 – 14.00
Collecting film audience data has always been a difficult and sometimes thankless task for organisations of all size. As Film Hub NI moves into the next phase of the Film Audience Network, the need to consistently and accurately provide a picture of cinema going audiences across NI will be key in ensuring the projects we deliver, and support our members to deliver, meet the strategic objectives of the BFI. Going forward from January 2018, any organisations who receive funding from Film Hub NI will be required to survey a minimum 20% of their audiences, to satisfy our requirements. The information that is gathered is not only useful to us and the BFI, but it can be very useful for your organisation to understand your audiences better.
With this in mind, we have invited Una Carmody to deliver workshops which will cover:
The difference between qualitative and quantitative research.
How to collect data and encourage audiences to share their thoughts.
How to use the data to inform your organisation's programming and marketing.
The dates have been set on a Friday and Saturday to accommodate both commercial and voluntary organisations as we require at least one person in your organisation to attend either day if you envisage applying for investment from Film Hub NI at any point between 2018-2022.
To book your place, please email Jennie (firstname.lastname@example.org) with your preferred date and details of any dietary requirements.
